Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the show was coming back in the production. Fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) as one of their favorite TV couples. Entertainment Television.
